Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue
*** A massive thank you from Bingo Friends to all the players who joined us on 6th February for our charity night. We raised a whopping £100 to donate to Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue. We hope it helps them to continue their fantastic work for the canine community! ***
CM Sky, one of the brilliant chat moderators in Allie's Room, is a member of Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue, so we asked her to tell us why the organisation is so important to her:
"Notts and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue are a non-profit organisation which is run strictly on a voluntary basis by a team of dedicated people. No-one is paid for the work that we do, we all do this purely because of our love of the Boxer breed.
After my husband and I rescued our 3-legged Boxer, we decided that we would like to do whatever we could to help out and found our local Boxer rescue group online. We went along to help at a few fundraising events and met the amazing Tracy, who runs the group together with the rest of the volunteers. It's clear to see how much this means to them all to help this fantastic breed of dogs.
I'm looking forward to my role in helping NAYBR and we are very thankful to Bingo Friends for hosting this charity night.
